Running with the Bulls

Event and ticket Info

Since 2003, the Strathmore Stampede has been the home of Running with the Bulls within Canada. Approximately 70 runners will face 3 rounds of wild, untamed bulls. An inner circle of fencing is set up within the infield, creating a track. The objective for runners is to be the bravest, most daring, and crowd entertaining runner alongside the bulls. A panel of judges and the Stampede Fans in attendance will determine the winner for a prize of $1000, a buckle and bragging rights. There is also a $500 Lammles gift card for the best dressed contestant. The Running with the Bulls Event is included during the evening Chuckwagon performance on Saturday and Sunday only. For those who prefer to watch instead of run, tickets can be purchased online or you can call our office at 403.934.5811. Please note that Running with the Bulls occurs as a part of the Chuckwagon performance and is not a singular event, therefore full ticket price must be paid. No refunds, exchanges, or rain checks will occur if cancelled due to safety or weather concerns.
